We put power, light and building improvements in the hands of the Kushea community police. Now, they use cell phones to respond quickly to community needs and have a building that is a symbol of safety, security and community pride.
Solar power and batters will meet basic needs for the community police station, providing light and renewable energy for cell phones. Policemen use cell phones and flashlights to respond to community needs and with the continual power provided by the Goal Zero Yeti 1250 Solar Generator and Boulder 90 Solar Panels, they are now continually charged. Fresh paint brightens up the inside and outside, creating a community building where civic pride is evident.
