DRC Employee Spotlight: Karine

We'd like to introduce you to one of our employees that work at TIFIE DRC. Meet Karine, our administrative assistant. We are always looking to hire intelligent and hard working people, and Karine has been an integral part of our success in the DRC. We'd love to have more women working at our offices that are like Karine!

Karine joined Tifie Humanitarian in September of 2009 as the administrative assistant. She is married to Eddy Malumba and they have 2 children, Pearl and Diamond. Her initial impression of Tifie was that the people were helpful and it was easy to integrate into the organization. She says, “I’ve always been concerned about working hard and developing myself within an organization. This has helped me find my place in Tifie.” Karine is the assistant to Bernard Balibuno, our Director General at TIFIE DRC. In addition to her administrative work in the office, she now initiates and maintains relationships with international organizations and international NGO’s working in the DRC. Karine says, “My objective is to increase Tifie’s opportunities for business and increase its success.”

Karine enjoys working for an organization that does good in the world. She helps in supporting the Tifie Orphanage. She says that as much as she desires for her own children to grow up and succeed in their life, she wishes that all the children of the world get the same opportunity to become someone good in life. We at Tifie agree – we have hope for the children, for families, for individuals, that they can all become someone who not only is good, but does good.

Karine enjoys the people that she works with at Tifie. She says “Thanks to Robert Workman, and all the personnel of Tifie that manage with great concern the improvement of our poor daily living. I love that they treat us like their family. They have a good heart. God bless you!”
