Refugees in Utah

Refugees around the world need a friend and a job. Those two things are essential to their acclimation to a new culture and to successfully being able to provide for themselves. Utah has over 60,000 refugees and several amazing organizations that care for refugees when they arrive. Tifie looks for ways to help refugees in programs that provide holistic care for them and their family.

Tifie x Workforce Services

Tifie and Spherion Staffing have sponsored two Forklift and Warehouse Trainings, hosted by the Department of Workforce Services. After completing the course, all attendees attained interviews, secured warehouse positions and received wages that were at least $2/hour more than previous jobs. If you’re a local employer interested in hiring refugees in Salt Lake City, please contact Spherion Staffing for more info!
