Relief for Refugees

Tifie has donated 110 Barebones Outfitter tents to our partner, Direct Relief, to provide urgently needed medical treatment and shelter for victims of the current crisis in Syria. Direct Relief is also handling the ground logistics and transportation so that these supplies are received where they are most needed. NuDay Syria is providing shelters for families to live in and through Direct Relief, will receive 55 Barebones Shelters.

One Person at a Time

NuDay's mission is to empower vulnerable families, and we are thankful that they will have dignified and safe shelter with these tents. Some families have been rehoused in the shelters and others receive medical care in the shelters. Often the shelters are used as triage or waiting rooms for patients before receiving care from the doctor. As a trusted partner of Direct Relief, they're providing holistic care to the communities they serve. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Nu Day is working especially hard to stop the spread. In addition to prevention education, emergency clean water wells and medical supply distribution, they are installing Barebones tents to provide services in various communities to decrease the need for people to leave their homes.   .
