Changing the Future through Youth Mentorship

Hope Changes Nations is a non-profit empowering youth through mentorship and entrepreneurial programs in Democratic Republic of Congo. By providing authentic mentorship opportunities and practical life skills, program participants have the tools to lift themselves out of poverty. When we met Erick, we were drawn to his passion for youth in DRC, and the real-world tools he gives to the youth in their program. Their mission of focusing on youth, community connection and practical life skills aligned with Tifie’s mission of empowering people to lift themselves out of poverty.

Because of the lack of resources and education in the Democratic Republic of Congo, our mentoring program will prepare our mentees w to obtain good jobs, create their own businesses, and continue to gain skills and achieve successes throughout their lives.

What does a Fiscal Sponsor mean?

 

Tifie is the Fiscal Sponsor for Hope Changes Nation. This means that Tifie uses our 501c status to receive donations for this project and keep track of donations for the IRS. Hope Change Nations runs the projects and keeps all of their own accounting. All donations for Hope Change Nations through Tifie are tax deductible and 100% of donations go directly to the project.
