DISASTER RELIEF IN PUERTO RICO

Hope Chases Away Darkness

In partnership with: Light Up Puerto Rico, Goal Zero

Hurricane Relief

When Hurricane Maria crashed through Puerto Rico, 95 percent of its inhabitants were left without power, but Tifie and Light Up Puerto Rico joined together to donate solar power, lights and shelters. Light Up Puerto Rico has raised over 500,000  and sent volunteers every month since October 2017.

Puerto Rico News Conference

On October 30 2017, Governor Herbert held a press conference with Light Up Puerto Rico and Tifie Humanitarian, urging Utahns to support by donating, “We have fellow Americans in Puerto Rico who are hurting and need help.”

With fellow donors of Zions Bank, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Vivint Smart Home and many more local businesses and organizations, Light Up Puerto Rico was able to send more than $500,000 of donated supplies and funds to families in Puerto Rico.
